Mechanical watches are typically serviced every four to five years regardless of whether they show obvious signs of wear. Quartz watches benefit from periodic cleaning as well, particularly if stored in humid conditions. If your piece is running noticeably fast or slow, or has become difficult to wind or set, those are practical cues to bring it in.

We examine the piece externally and, depending on the service requested, open the case to assess movement condition. We then prepare a written summary of what we observe and the steps we recommend. Work only begins once you have reviewed and agreed to the proposed scope.

Routine servicing is generally completed within two to three weeks. Case refinishing varies depending on the condition and type of case, typically one to two weeks. Heritage and complication overhauls require more time — often four to eight weeks — and we will give you a clearer estimate after the initial assessment.

We work across a broad range of Swiss, Japanese, and European calibers — both vintage and contemporary. There are some highly specialised proprietary movements where we may advise the owner to seek a brand-authorised service centre instead. We will always be straightforward about what we can and cannot take on.

The prices shown represent the base rate for each service type. If additional work is identified during the assessment — such as a worn part that needs sourcing — we will inform you before proceeding, and any additional cost will be agreed upon beforehand.

Each piece is logged on intake with condition notes and stored in a designated, secure location within the workshop. We maintain a chain-of-custody record throughout the service period. Access is limited to workshop staff working directly on your piece.
